The Woman and the Dragon: Our Welcome Ohm Story

Our Story is the story of the Woman and the Dragon,  a powerful allegory interpreted as a tale of resilience, protection, and the birth of new life in the face of immense challenge, which is par for the course in Earth School.  

In Revelation 12, a celestial woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head, embodying the archetype of the creator, is about to give birth. As she labors, a great red dragon appears, intending to devour her child as soon as it is born. Despite the threat, she delivers a male child who is destined to rule. The child is caught up to God for protection, while the woman flees into the wilderness to A Place prepared by God for 1,260 days, where she is cared for during her time of need.

In the story of the Woman and the Dragon, the woman represents the fertile ground, the soil from which new life arises. Her journey is not just one of confronting external threats but also an inner exploration between fear and courage, between old patterns and the emergence of a new self. The dragon, which appears as both a threat and a guardian, stands in her path, waging war against her and her offspring, symbolizing obstacles she must overcome to achieve a higher state of being and testing her strength, wisdom, and ability to nurture life, inciting the woman’s initiation.

The sanctuary she finds in the wilderness represents Welcome Ohm: a sacred place where she can pause, confront her inner turmoil, and prepare for what comes next, her rebirth. This place is for reflection, healing, and understanding the deeper purpose behind her journey. Here, she reconnects with her inner power, aligns with the cyclical nature of life, and acknowledges that death and rebirth are inherent to growth.

Ultimately, the woman and her seed emerge victorious by embracing her full self, including her fears and vulnerabilities, which allows her to harness the dragon's energy not as an adversary but as an ally. The dragon transforms from a creature of chaos into a symbol of strength and wisdom.

Welcome Ohm speaks to an internal truth best illustrated in this story: life is cyclical, marked by moments of creation and destruction. Reminding us that true power lies in embracing all parts of ourselves, from intense challenges to growth and renewal.
